Arnie
Baskin was born in Leominster, MA, and attended Leominister
High. He, then, joined the United States Air Force for three
and one half years in the accounting and finance office. He
was stationed in Colorado, Greenland, and South Dakota. He
has two children and one grandchild. Arnie has been in Rhode
Island for over thirty-five years.
Arnie
spent more than 30 years in the retail business before entering
real estate. He has extensive experience in Multi-store, Department,
and Specialty. At the Outlet Corporation, he was appointed
Chief Operating Officer of the Warwick Shoe Company, involving
eighty-two stores of the corporation. He, then, joined Cherry
and Webb Specialty store chain as Vice President. Responsibilities
included merchandising, women's footwear, children's apparel,
and intimate apparel until he retired from the retail business
in 1997.
His friend
of many years, Jake Maguire, encouraged Arnie to obtain his
real estate license and join him at E. Lannon and Associates
in 1998. The rest is history. Arnie is the number one realtor
at E. Lannon and Associates. He is a proven leader, innovator,
team player and multi-million dollar sales team leader with
a track record of success. He is the embodiment of the Lannon
motto "Discover a Successful Formula". Arnie enjoys
assisting buyers find their dream home and sellers obtain
the ultimate value for their home. Arnie strives to help his
clients reach their goals.
Arnie
is an active member of the Cranston Chamber of Commerce. He
has served on the Golf Tournament Committee for the last four
years. He is a life member of the two/ten International Footwear
Foundation. This organization provides financial assistance
and placement expertise to shoe industry personnel who are
presented with economic difficulties. The Foundation also
provides college scholarships to qualified students of shoe
families.
