Sharon Moylan is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island and believes that RI is indeed a destination place - a great place to work and live. Sharon is an active community leader, entrepreneur and realtor. She has engaged numerous businesses, organizations, families and individuals in the pursuit of quality education, healthcare, child and dependent care options, and community development essential to making RI "THE" place to live.  She is a member of the Governor’s Workforce Board and the Permanent Legislative Commission on Child Care.

Sharon received her primary education in the North Smithfield public education system before graduating from Classical High School in Providence. She holds degrees from Immaculata College of Washington, DC and Johnson & Wales University. Her diverse business background includes 16 years as founder and CEO of Emerge, Inc. a management consulting firm, and prior to that, Chief Financial Officer of a private healthcare organization. In 2007, she became the Executive Director of Options for Working Families, an information, resource, and referral agency that assists families in finding child/dependent and elder care services.

Sharon raised her family in North Smithfield prior to relocating to Providence in 1998. She joined Armory Properties in 2005 sharing their commitment to develop great neighborhoods.
