Marcia MacDonald was born and raised in East Providence, RI. Thirty years ago she moved to Cranston after buying her first home.

Marcia began her career in the securities industry in 1964, working in operations, administration, and client services. She joined Prudential Securities in 1990 as a Branch Administrator/Financial Advisor, and in 1999 she entered sales full time and decided to participate in Prudential’s extensive and comprehensive 36 month training program in Providence and Manhattan graduating at the top of the class. She continued in sales and financial planning until 2006 when she made the decision to leave the financial industry after 42 years and pursue a new career.

Marcia is a graduate of the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado with a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

Ed Lannon, a friend of hers for 25 years and her real estate agent suggested that she acquire a real estate license and work for him at Lannon Realty. She took his offer and is currently “getting started” in the real estate business with one sale under her belt. She loves seeing the exuberance in the faces of first time buyers. She has a strong work ethic and personal commitment to her clients.

Marcia is a current member of B.O.M.A where she serves on their board. She also is a member of Squantum Association where she served on the board for several years.
